Artist of the Week: Claire Toomey

LBC radio presenter, James Max, should be happy with my selection, this week, as I have gone with a very new artist. My Artist of the Week, this week, is Claire Toomey. Claire started out as a solo acoustic act, but subsequently added a full band to her act. She is so new, she doesn't have an album out, yet. You can buy an EP of her via the internet. Claire has been doing gigs around London for over two years. Currently unsigned (how's that for new music, James MAX?), she has been influenced by the likes of Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morisette, U2, and Nirvana, amongst others.
